Our corrections standard
Miami Finance Review corrects material factual errors promptly and transparently. A correction should explain what was wrong, provide the accurate information and identify when the article was updated.
How to request a correction
Send the article URL, the disputed statement and supporting documentation to corrections@miamifinancereview.com. The editorial desk will review the request, consult the underlying sources and contact relevant parties when necessary.
Types of updates
- Correction: a material factual error is changed and disclosed.
- Clarification: accurate language is expanded to avoid a misleading interpretation.
- Routine update: new data or developments are added without changing the original accuracy.
- Retraction: content is removed when its central premise cannot be supported.
